We're honored to welcome Wesam Sabaaneh to Brussels on 7/12 for the book presentation of 'Dear Little Palestine'.

Wesam is a Palestinian refugee, writer, and activist. He founded and serves as the executive director of Jafra Foundation, a youth organization that supports Palestinian refugees in Syria and Lebanon. Through his writing and humanitarian work, he advocates for refugee rights and strives to amplify their voices globally. His debut book, Dear Little Palestine, explores themes of resilience, identity, and the collective experience of exile.

As Flavors of Resistance is raising funds for Jafra Foundation, we look forward to sitting down with Wesam to talk about his book, his lived experiences as a Palestinian in Syria and Lebanon, and what it means to devote your whole being to the freedom of your people. @wassimakobo will interview Wesam, followed by a question round with the audience. Afterward, Flavors of Resistance serves delicious bites and drinks so the conversation can continue informally.
